Medical Affairs Coordinator

Basingstoke – Contract

We're currently recruiting for a Medical Affairs Coordinator to join a leading global pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis.

Working within the International Medical Affairs team, you'll support the coordination and ongoing management of Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) / Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs) across a number of international markets.

This is a varied role combining clinical research coordination, project management and stakeholder management, with responsibility for keeping studies on track throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating and tracking investigator–initiated studies from protocol approval through to close–out Monitoring study milestones, enrolment, timelines and deliverables Supporting contracts, amendments, budgets, invoices and purchase orders Liaising with investigators, affiliates and cross–functional internal teams Coordinating clinical supply requests and forecasting Maintaining accurate study documentation and inspection readiness Supporting regulatory documentation and study close–out Maintaining study information within systems such as CTMS and internal tracking tools About you:

We're looking for someone with a background in clinical research, clinical operations, clinical trial coordination or Medical Affairs, ideally with at least 2 years' relevant experience. Experience of clinical study coordination, contracts/budgets, finance or PO processing, working with investigators and cross–functional teams would be particularly valuable. A scientific or health–related degree is preferred, alongside an understanding of clinical drug development and the regulations surrounding medical research. This could be a great opportunity for a Clinical Trial Associate, Senior CTA, Clinical Project Coordinator, Clinical Operations Associate or Medical Affairs Coordinator looking to broaden their experience within a global pharmaceutical environment.
