Maintenance Officer - Grade II Listed Building (Euston)

Euston, London

£32,156 per annum

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (flexible working available)

Closing date: 26th September | Interviews: 1st October (via Teams)

A respected charitable organisation is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join their team and take responsibility for the upkeep of a historic, multi-storey property in Euston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in building maintenance, particularly in fabric works and compliance, to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, with a focus on fabric repairs.

Oversee fire door remediation and ensure compliance with Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) recommendations.

Conduct Legionella control tasks (e.g., flushing, temperature testing).

Support void property turnaround to ensure smooth transitions between tenants.

Maintain Asbestos Awareness (training can be provided).

Liaise with external contractors for electrical, gas, and HVAC works. Desirable Experience:

Background in general maintenance, particularly within older or listed buildings.

Plumbing experience is advantageous.

Experience working in environments with vulnerable individuals is a plus. Additional Details:

Flexible working hours as long as the 37.5-hour weekly contract is fulfilled.

Overtime opportunities may be available to support operational needs.

An Enhanced DBS check will be processed upon offer acceptance. Recruitment Timeline:
