Essential criteria for Locum Doctors
Must hold full Registration with GMC with a licence to practise 6 months experience working within NHS Right to work in UK Valid Access NI enhanced disclosure (or willingness to obtain one) Medical indemnity cover BLS/ALS certification as appropriate to the role Two professional references Up–to–date appraisal and revalidation Registration & Benefits for Locum Doctors

EmRec pays locum doctors on a grade–based rate structure:
FY1: 39.75 per hour FY2, CT1–3, ST1: 57 per hour ST2–6, Specialty Doctor: 72 per hour Consultant, Specialist, Associate Specialist grade: 118 per hour
