Due to hours and location a driving licence is essential

Shift pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off. Working 4pm – midnight. Average 35 hours per week.

16.75 per hour + Holiday Pay

We are seeking a highly organised and detail–oriented Laboratory Administrator to support our clients busy laboratory operations. This is a varied role combining administrative responsibilities with hands–on laboratory tasks, ideal for someone who enjoys both desk–based and practical work.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Duties

Booking in and registering samples using the Laboratory Information Management SystemProducing Excel reports to monitor outstanding requests and support operational needsManaging a shared inbox, responding to queries from internal teams and customersProviding general administrative support, including reporting as requiredLaboratory Duties

Organising, labelling, and storing samples accuratelyPreparing and labelling sample containers for customer useAdding required reagents to containers and ensuring correct dating and traceabilityCleaning and preparing containers and laboratory equipment for reuseAbout You

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skillsConfident using Microsoft Excel and general IT systemsAbility to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks efficientlyGood communication skills and a proactive, team–focused approachComfortable working in both office and laboratory environmentsWhat We Offer
