As the interim Repairs Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality repairs management service, ensuring the needs of residents are met throughout their tenancies. You’ll take ownership of repair cases from start to finish, working proactively to balance changing priorities while ensuring excellent customer service.

You will provide comprehensive administrative support, including logging and monitoring repairs, answering resident queries, liaising with contractors, and assisting with the management of invoices. The role also involves working closely with internal teams and attending estate locations for inspections when required.

Main duties include:

* Receive, raise and track repairs requests, ensuring they are completed to a high standard.

* Provide responsive support to residents via phone, in writing, and face-to-face.

* Record, monitor and update repairs cases accurately through the full process.

* Liaise with contractors and surveyors to ensure timely completion of works.

* Assist with void maintenance, ensuring all compliance certificates are in place prior to re-letting.

* Manage complaints effectively, resolving at first contact where possible.

* Contribute to compliance with new housing regulations, including Awaab’s Law and the Big 6 compliance areas, as well as disrepair case management.

As the ideal candidate, you will possess experience in delivering a high-quality repairs and void maintenance service. Also, understanding and knowledge of repairs process from start to finish and knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in maintenance and construction works will prove useful. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent customer service ability and will be confident managing competing priorities and taking ownership of cases end-to-end. As such, proficient in IT systems, record keeping and data analysis is a must and this role is office based 5 days per week. You will be available immediately and possess recent relevant experience.
