The Role

As Practice Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while supporting both the commercial and clinical success of the business.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, leading by example, and building strong relationships with both patients and staff.

What your day to day will look like!

Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the daily running of the practice Leading, motivating, and supporting the practice team Managing staff rotas and day-to-day workflow Delivering exceptional customer service and patient experience Supporting the dispensing team when required Monitoring practice performance and helping drive business growth Managing stock levels, frame displays, and supplier relationships Ensuring the practice maintains high operational and presentation standards Handling patient queries and resolving issues professionally Supporting marketing initiatives and community engagement Working closely with the Optometrist and clinical team to ensure smooth patient journeys This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Hours and flexibility

Full-time permanent position Sunday and Monday closed! Tuesday to Friday - 9am to 12pm / 1pm till 5pm Saturday - 9am to 12pm / 1pm to 4pm Closed bank holidays No late evenings Flexibility may be available for the right candidate The practice values work-life balance and aims to maintain a positive and supportive working culture.
