Job Overview

This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to delivering personalised support to individuals in need.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety protocols. Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes. Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable. A strong command of English is required for effective communication with residents and colleagues. Familiarity with IT systems will be beneficial for maintaining records and communication. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with residents and their families.
