Female Service Manager Liverpool

Salary: GBP38,220 + GBP250 weekly on–call allowance

Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon Fri (with on–call rota if opt in)

New Start is a family–run, not–for–profit organisation providing housing and support services across Merseyside. We work with vulnerable adults, families, and young people facing homelessness and complex needs.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Female Service Manager to lead our 24/7 supported accommodation project for women in Liverpool. You ll manage a dedicated team, ensuring women feel safe, supported, and empowered to move forward towards independence and permanent housing.

What You ll Do

Lead and inspire a team delivering trauma–informed, person–centred support. Manage safeguarding, risk, and incident reporting processes. Build strong partnerships with local authorities, police, and other agencies. Oversee service delivery, compliance, and property management. Support women in building confidence, resilience, and life skills. What We Offer

2+ years management/supervisory experience in a similar setting NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (minimum) + working towards Level 5 in Leadership & Management 3+ years experience in outreach, hostel, or residential support Knowledge of homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, and safeguarding Confident leader with excellent multi–agency working skills This post is subject to enhanced DBS criminal record disclosure & satisfactory references.
