Salary: 13.50 to 14.50 per hour plus 60 per sleep in

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week

The Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you'll be a positive role model for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), helping them navigate everyday life while providing consistency, encouragement and care.

No two days are the same. From supporting education and daily routines to celebrating milestones and creating memorable experiences, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people.

Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you'll deliver therapeutic, child centred care that promotes stability, resilience and independence.

Key Responsibilities

Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people. Support daily routines, education, appointments and community activities. Encourage independence, confidence and essential life skills. Promote positive behaviour using therapeutic approaches. Complete high quality daily recordings, reports and care documentation. Administer medication where required. Work collaboratively with families, social workers and other professionals. Safeguard children and maintain the highest standards of care at all times. Help young people achieve positive outcomes and reach their full potential. What We're Looking For

Essential

Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare. Previous experience working within a Children's Residential Home. A genuine passion for supporting children and young people. Excellent communication and relationship building skills. A caring, resilient and proactive approach. Full UK Driving Licence.
