Description
We are looking for a passionate and caring Chef to join our dedicated team within our specialist Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) unit.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef who understands that food is about more than simply providing meals. In a care environment, great food can support health, rehabilitation, independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
You will be responsible for preparing nutritious, appetising and varied meals for our residents/service users, while working closely with the wider care team to ensure individual dietary needs, preferences and requirements are met.
About the Role
As our Chef, you will:
Prepare and serve high–quality, nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day. Create varied menus that reflect individual preferences and promote healthy eating. Cater for a range of dietary requirements, allergies, cultural preferences and modified–texture diets where required. Work alongside care and clinical staff to support individual nutritional needs. Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety. Manage food ordering, stock rotation and portion control within budget. Support a welcoming Benefits:

Hours:
30 hours per week worked over a 7–day rota. Alternate weekends off.
