BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Prospero Teaching work closely with high–achieving schools based in Bournemouth, and one of our fantastic partner schools is currently seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant.

The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to students, helping to promote positive behaviour, engagement, and learning both inside and outside the classroom.

THE ROLE

Location: BournemouthPosition: Behaviour Support AssistantType of work: Full TimeContract: Long termStart Date: ASAPDuration: OngoingMinimum rate of pay: 75Hours: 08:30 – 3:30YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Classroom support – activities, organisation, engagement, behaviour, emotional supportWorking with children on a one–to–one basis or in small groupsBreak/Lunch time supervisionKeeping progress reportsEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Teaching Assistant qualification (preferable but not essential)Previous experience working in a UK SchoolExperience working with children in education or in a similar settingUp–to–date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training can be provided)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional, child–related referencesAPPLICATION PROCESS
