Behaviour Support Assistant – Hounslow – Starting September 2025
We are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work in a secondary school in Hounslow from September 2025 to July 2026. This is a full–time role, suitable for graduates with an interest in youth mentoring, social work, or pastoral care.
You'll be working closely with students who need help managing behaviour, focusing on helping them engage positively in their learning.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting students with challenging behaviourDeveloping and implementing behaviour support strategiesAssisting the pastoral and safeguarding teamProviding a consistent and calming presence across the school dayHelping students develop self–regulation and resilience
We are looking for candidates who:
Have a degree (psychology, criminology, or education backgrounds welcome)Are confident, calm, and patient with young peopleHave a passion for supporting pupils at risk of exclusionWant to make a long–term difference in a student's life
