At Baston House School in Bromley, we're looking for a kind, committed Teaching Assistant / Autism Practitioner to join our warm, supportive team. You'll help pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex needs to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential - in a school that values compassion, creativity, and teamwork.

What you'll be doing
Supporting pupils aged 5-19 with Autism in small class groupsEncouraging independence, confidence, and communicationHelping teachers prepare lessons and learning activitiesProviding emotional and practical support throughout the dayCreating a calm, safe, and positive space for every pupilWhat we're looking for
You don't need to be an expert - just bring enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine desire to help othersPrevious experience supporting children or young people with Autism or other Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable, but not essential - full training will be providedAdaptable, empathetic, and keen to work as part of a teamCommitted to helping pupils build confidence, independence, and self-beliefGCSEs in English and MathsAbout Baston House School

You'll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, giving you more time to do the things that make you happy. 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit
