About the role

Are you an outstanding teacher with a passion for developing others? We re looking for an Advanced Practitioner to help drive excellence across our Apprenticeships and Work–Based Learning provision.

You ll support staff through coaching, mentoring and modelling great practice, ensuring our apprentices receive exceptional teaching, learning and assessment. Our department spans four sectors Business & Enterprise, Healthcare & Science, Engineering and Construction so experience or knowledge in at least one of these is a real advantage.

What you ll do: Deliver high–quality teaching and set the standard for othersCoach, mentor and support teaching staff and assessorsLead professional development, contribute to quality improvement and share best practiceSupport new staff through induction and developmentDrive improvements in attendance, achievement and apprentice progressPromote our FREDIE+ values and champion safeguarding What you ll bring: A track record of good or outstanding teaching and strong learner outcomesExperience supporting or developing other staffPassion for outstanding TLA and learner successUp–to–date knowledge of pedagogy, inclusivity and digital toolsLevel 5 teaching qualification (or above) and relevant degree Join a college that s ambitious, inclusive and committed to transforming lives through learning.
