Meet Daisy

Daisy has been with us since she was just 10 weeks old. Now at 9 months, she’s a lovely Syrian hamster who’s spent much of her life in foster care—despite being full of personality and potential.

She’s playful, inquisitive, and a little shy at first, but once she trusts you, she'll accept gentle strokes. She loves to be talked to and really listens as we tell her how gorgeous she is. Daisy loves nothing more than a bit of walnut or apple when she first wakes in the evening - before starting on her marathon wheel session. She’s not a cuddler, but she’s endlessly entertaining and surprisingly affectionate in her own way.

Daisy has a history of climbing and chewing, so she'll need a barless setup with deep bedding with space to burrow and explore. Jug or tunnel transfers work best for her comfort. And she's in her element with lots of enrichment and when her environment is enriched and her boundaries respected.

We’re looking for an adopter who understands her need for independence, can offer a stimulating setup, and is happy to earn her trust. She’s a joy to watch and a rewarding companion for someone patient and kind.
