Mr Maughan avoiding all communication. The scaffolders left without being payed - despite Mr Maughan saying he would be there in 20 mins (which he wasn't). Also discovered that he had used 3 old ridge tiles which didn't tell me about. His invoice states a fully new roof. He may be in breach of contract. Will be taking legal advice and contacting Trading Standards.
The scaffolders think he's actually done a good job. It's such a shame that it's come to this. Please think very carefully about hiring this company and make sure you do your homework. I would hate for anyone else to go through what we're currently experiencing.

I hired them to clean my gutters. The company CEO Dylan Maughan kept finding faults with the roof. This simple gutter clean escalated to a full roof refelting & retiring. I have to say that the job done on the roof is excellent. The lads worked very hard. On completion I wanted to withhold payment until all the rubble was cleared. I relented on their assurances that it would be gone the next day. Needless to say it's still here and I've now got to fork out for a skip. Dylan has not replied to any of my texts or emails since. He also on the first day of the job asked for £200 to get a few more things. When I questioned this he said that he had just payed the scaffolders. As I write this, the scaffolders are removing the frame but they have not been payed. In short the roof is good but Mr Maughan's practices not so much. The scaffolder informs me that my gutters are still dirty. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this company. Although the roof is good all the rest has left a bad taste
