Absolutely fantastic beast of a guitar.
No longer made.
So easy to play also. Newly strung with Ernie Ball Hybrid 9-46 strings. #NOW open to swaps.

It has a very interesting/confusing treble boost/cut control too.
Goes from full on to twangy type tones.
Ive just got far too many humbucker gtrs.

This has two Dimarzio Custom-made pickups - the bridge is like a DiMarzio DP161 Steves Special and the neck like a DiMarzio DP158 Evolution. ie two top end pickups at £100 a pop. Tuners are Sperzel USA tuners costing £150 – the neck has been described as like a 59 Gibson Melody Maker reissue but slightly more D shaped. Comfortably fat and super fast. It's also contoured where it meets the body for Sweeter top fret access than any Gibson and all the Fenders except those with an asymmetrical plate.Bridge has contoured saddles for exceptional comfort.3.79kgSpecs and review info from Rob Holsman's excellent site.22 fret maple neck. Alder body – rosewood fingerboard, 24.75″ scale length and a 13.75″ radius.Custom machine heads! Specifically designed by Sperzel for this guitar, its got 3-a-side locking machine heads with varying inset lengths – this means that every string remains precisely straight from bridge to tuner. Most importantly, the tuning stability on this guitar is incredible.Controls – 2 volumes and one rotary control which has 3 positions: 1 – Humbucker mode. 2 – Pseudo single coil mode. 3 – Preset tone cut (preset is controlled with a micro-pot inside the body). This combination give so many tonal possibilities its amazing that the other guitars didn’t have this. No off-the-shelf knobs here either, even these are specific to the range.2 strap buttons on the end of the body. The higher one helps the guitar hang at a more natural angle. The lower one means that when you lean the guitar up against your amp, it stands on the strap buttons like 2 little legs which makes it much less likely to fall over. Even the string anchors are custom made! Its a string through design and these offset anchors have a great understated cool vibe. The post-mounted bridge is excellent.
