What a beauty... and tonal monster. The Ibanez SR1200 proves that striking looks and timeless bass tone don't have to cost a fortune. Indeed, the SR1200 is an outstanding value. Start with that mahogany body, topped with figured Ovangkol. Great looks. Then add in the smooth-playing 5-piece Wenge/Bubinga neck, decked out with a rosewood fingerboard and abalone oval inlays. This is one great-looking, great-playing bass. Still, the SR1200s first priority is tone, and that's just what the two Nordstrand Big Single pickups deliver. And with the 3-band EQ, you'll have more than enough tonal and shaping power to hit the stage or studio with any band. Simply put, the Ibanez SR1200 is a great bass.
