Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Reissue R8 Les Paul Bourbon Burst 2014 in absolutely excellent condition. Comes with case, COA etc. Neck is not as massive as some early R8s although still chunky. Beautiful flamed Bourbonburst finish that wouldn’t look out of place on a 1959 reissue.

• Body: 2-piece flame maple top 1-piece lightweight mahogany back (no weight relief, weighs just under 9lbs), nitrocellulose.
• Neck: Solid mahogany with a chunky late-'50s C-shape profile, historical long neck tenon joint, hot hide glue construction.
• Fingerboard: Indian rosewood with a 12" radius and 22 narrow/tall frets. While it is noticeably thick, Gibson refined the Historic shapes around 2013–2014 to have slightly softer, more comfortable shoulders compared to the overly square "shouldery" profiles of the mid-2000s reissues.
• Pickups: Unpotted Gibson Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers (delivering clear, woody PAF-style tones).
• Electronics: 500K CTS potentiometers, Bumblebee paper-in-oil capacitors.
• Hardware: Nickel-plated no-wire ABR-1 bridge, lightweight aluminum stop bar tailpiece, Kluson deluxe tuners.
• Case: Period-correct brown Reissue "Lifton" hardshell case with pink interior.
