This Fender Stratocaster model 0133700509 in Torino Red is the Sam Ash 48th Street Special Edition 2002 and has the serial number MZ2156501.
It was made in January 2003 and bought from Sam Ash Music in USA. Although assembled in Fender's Mexican Facility all the parts used are of American origin as specifically ordered by Sam Ash Music
Sam Ash Music was founded in 1924 and was the largest family-owned chain of musical instrument stores in the United States of America with 45 locations. It was the policy of Sam Ash Music to annually order a limited number of 48th Street Special Edition Fender Stratocaster Guitars built to their own specification.
The serial number details provided below show in a search inquiry that Fender Musical Instruments Corporation built it at this time in 01/2003.
This stunning guitar is now over 23 years old. It is in As New condition and totally unblemished with not a mark to be seen as is evident from the photos. It is a pleasure to own but my age and poor health mean I have to sell this very special instrument. It comes with a very strong hard case.
