The guitar is in great condition as you can see from the pics. There is a tiny amount of buckle rash on the back and the odd small dent in the finish as expected with a guitar which was played extensively for 20 years.
Finally letting this one go. I don't normally wax lyrical about a guitar in ads but this one is a little different...
I went on a search for the perfect Strat and must've tried 30 or 40 until I played this... It was a custom order through Sound Control in Glasgow that the customer couldn't complete the sale on.
It is the best playing strat I have ever held, hands down, and it sounds incredible. I actually didn't like the colour at first but the sound and feel totally overrode that. (the finish really grew on me over the years though)
Everyone who came into my studio picked this guitar out of my huge collection as their favourite. Honestly, you need to play it, the neck is spectacular.
Anyway, as much as I love this guitar, the strat sound never fit the mix for my own music, which many might find boring but is generally just a clean neck humbucker sound on an LP or the likes. Now that I no longer record other people and need to clear out some space, sadly this has to go. It's priced for someone who will play it.
