Made in Japan The Hybrid II is a series of instruments with vintage looks and all-around modern specs that can be used by any player or genre of music, making it a truly "hybrid" series.

Made in Japan, the Hybrid II is a product that combines the playability and tone of an instrument that fits any guitarist or bassist, whether rhythm or lead, and has a worldwide fan base.

The Hybrid II Precision Jazz Bass PJ is equipped with both Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil Jazz Bass pickups and P Bass pickups in a staggered polepiece design on a proven alder body, The Jazz Bass pickups are equipped with both Jazz Bass and P Bass pickups, giving the instrument a tight, clean sound characteristic of the Jazz Bass, as well as the powerful vintage tone of the P Bass.

A sustain block is mounted under the vintage-style bridge. Vintage-style tuners, satin-finish neck, Modern "C" shape with 9.5" radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets provide smooth playability.
