Arnold, Nottinghamshire

Description
This is an extremely rare, professional quality, Japanese hand crafted 1970’s Dreadnought electro-acoustic guitar.. It is a beautifully made top quality all solid wood guitar. Spruce top and Rosewood back and sides.. This guitar was made at a time when the Japanese manufacturers were vying to compete with the worlds top manufacturers like Martin and Gibson.. and using the same ultimate quality materials.. It is likely the guitar was made by a company like Takamine, and probably one of the “Law-suit” series of guitars… Called “Chaser”, as they were chasing top-billing amongst world guitar manufacturers. We believe it has the original battery powered pre-amp, which has just volume and tone controls. It has had a new bone saddle and piezo pick up fitted, and “plugs-in” excellently. The string action is excellent, and can be strummed with vigour, or softly finger-picked with equal ease. It has a few marks and scratches, as you would expect from a 50 year old instrument.. but for it’s age it is in wonderful condition.. It has the beautifully golden colour on the top, typical of a top quality guitar of that age.. It will come with the hard case seen in the pics, a tuner, a Schubb style capo, a few plectrums, and the strap, also seen in the pics.. We’re pretty sure the first person to see and play it will buy it..
