Description
A rare, pristine example of one of Martin's most sought after guitars, based upon Clapton's instrument of choice for his famous 1992 'Unplugged' MTV set.
I purchased this beautiful instrument around 7 years ago, polished up my rendition of 'Tears in Heaven', learned the solo to Layla, then have barely played it since.
In total, I would estimate it's been played for around 25-50 hours. It's never been modified or gigged with and comes in its official Martin hard case, which has no scuffs, scratches or obvious signs of use. Even the strap peg is unfitted and still in its packet.
I've documented the year, condition and price of every second hand 000-28EC currently for sale in the UK and have yet to find anything that compares. Quite simply, this is one of the finest examples available—if not the finest—and is sure to make its new owner very happy.
