Description
USA Les Paul Standard from a sought-after period where Gibson were making high-quality guitars. This example has a beautiful (and quite unique) book-matched chevron-style flamed top and a desirable one-piece back.
Excellent condition with just a few minor blemishes which are mostly only visible under direct light (see pics where we have exaggerated them significantly). Some ageing to the binding, and the frets are in excellent condition. Everything works as it should and there are no breaks or repairs.
You get the classic Les Paul specs including a Mahogany body with figured Maple top, Mahogany neck with comfortable 60’s profile, Rosewood board, Gibson Deluxe tuners and a pair of sweet sounding Burstbucker Pro pickups for all of those huge rock tones you want when buying a Les Paul. This is one of the last desirable years where Les Pauls were still solid body with no weight relief, however this is still a lightweight example at only 8lb 13oz.
It comes complete with its original hard case to keep it protected.
