1978 Gibson Marauder.

It's a Les Paul, only it's obviously not. Norlin-era, heavy. 3 piece maple neck, maple fretboard, bolt-on neck, aftermarket tuners (fitted by a previous owner, but originals are included), mahogany body, Bill Lawrence pickups. Also comes with a couple of spare scratch plates. Being a 1978, it should have a pickup blend pot, but has a 3-way switch instead. I believe it's been modded with an extra pot at some stage in it's life, then put back to just vol and tone. Pots aren't original.

This model comes with a factory-painted neck, as some did. They made Marauders out of mahogany, maple, alder, maple or rosewood fretboards, 3-piece necks or scarf joint (if that's the correct term) necks. I think they just made a load of parts and put together whatever worked, at the time.

Obviously shows some use, but it plays absolutely brilliantly. Nice, low action, extremely playable. And the pickups are a bit love/hate, but I think they are superb. Great, lower output humbuckers, not overly great on sustain, but a really nice tone.

Comes with a hard case.

Only selling because I need the money. I love this guitar, it is, in my opinion, amazing. But truth be told, maybe not as important for work and stuff as my others.
