Are you interested in starting a comedy group?

I would like to start a comedy group - I am in Hastings but would like to open this up to all of Sussex and see where a central place is to meet up or have a number of meeting places? I have no initial plan, just the idea to start one and see if there is anyone else out there who would like to start a group that naturally evolves and never really becomes something that you can out a label on and package and sell it. I'm not even looking for funny, quite the opposite in fact - I'm trying to find those who don't want to be a part of an organised group that must be funny or act funny and show everybody else we are funny. It could be that you just like performing of any kind.

Do you like writing scripts? Creating sketches? Have ideas for sketches? Have an interest in sound recording or filming? Good at locations? Just like performing? Stand up? Got a good character for a sketch? I could go on but I won't and hope you get the gist - I am looking for anyone who is drawn to this advert and allow them a space to turn up and see if it for them or come and go as they please - to use the space to simply try it out.

I would like to find others and then get the group together and see where it goes, letting the group guide the process and not personally guide, direct or control the group. It may turn out to be something else entirely - the freedom to try things out, introduce ideas and give things a go.
