We hired New Horizon for our garden project, but what was promised as a smooth 1.5 week job turned into 5 stressful weeks. Working with Rob was challenging. He repeatedly reminded us of “free favors,” which was discussed beforehand and accepted by him. The whole process was marred by pressure for immediate payments and unprofessional behavior. The agreement was to pay labor charges at the end of the job but Rob and Jennifer didn't stick to the agreement and they kept constantly pressuring for immediate payments at different phases of the job. Towards the end, when we raised concerns they became rude and even threatening. We felt more like we were being done a favor rather than receiving professional service. In the end, we were left emotionally drained. After our garden work, while working next door, he deliberately kept blocking our driveway leading to police involvement. We would advise future clients to be very cautious, get everything in writing, and be prepared for unexpected issues. Our experience did not match the glowing reviews we read initially. We highly DO NOT recommend his services.

The team were quick and efficient and transparent with costs. They were considerate of our needs as customers and their input to the overall design of the garden was informed and based on their sound experience. We were consulted on any decisions or changes. The team worked well together and were excellent at keeping us informed and also tidying and cleaning the driveway and drains after materials were delivered. They were able to supply a wide range of specialist skills, built and installed a pergola and a new roof on our summerhouse as well as new patio areas, steps and raised beds and lawn. The final level of finish is excellent and our garden looks better than we expected. They identified a few small areas of snagging and were quick to remedy those. We would have no hesitation in recommending them for other projects. Thank you Bob and your team !

I employed this company to clear a 'wild' area of garden. They had to level the ground which then meant they had to remove tons of non required aggregate and earth. They prepared the ground in a professional manner prior to covering the entire area in slabs surrounded with chips in matching colour. The completed work looked excellent especially by the wooden sleepers used to shore up higher areas of ground. All men, on site, worked continually and left it in a clean and tidy condition. I am delighted with all of the work and the overall cost which was thousands of pounds less than other quotes. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I previously only used my rear garden to hang out my washing. Robert and his team of grafters turned my eyesore of a rear garden into somewhere I can now sit out.
