CWJ Celebrate with Jade is very much me. It isn’t a big company and there isn’t a team of celebrants behind the scenes. From your very first message, to sitting down together and hearing your story, to writing and delivering your ceremony, you get me.

If I had to describe what sets me apart, I’d probably borrow the words of the couples and families I’ve been lucky enough to work with.

In my customers’ words, I’m warm, friendly, approachable, relaxed, professional, caring and somebody who immediately puts people at ease. I’m often told that it feels as though I’ve known a couple or family for years, and that I manage to bring just the right amount of humour and personality while still knowing when a moment needs to be heartfelt.

And I think that sums up exactly what I want my business to be.

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all ceremonies or simply changing the names in a standard script. I want to get to know you. I want the funny stories, the little quirks, the things that make you laugh and the things that really matter to you. Then I go away and write something completely bespoke, so when you hear it, you recognise yourselves or the person whose life we're celebrating.

I’m also a former Registrar and a qualified NOCN Level 3 Civil Celebrant. During my time as a Registrar, my role went far beyond conducting legal marriage ceremonies. I also took notices of marriage and registered births and deaths. This has given me a really sound understanding of the laws, legal requirements and processes surrounding birth, death and marriage, which I can now bring alongside the relaxed, personal and creative side of my work as an independent celebrant.

Whether I'm conducting a wedding, funeral, memorial, vow renewal, naming ceremony or something a little different, my aim is always the same.
