Description

Our Forgotten Neighbours is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and caring volunteers to join our team and help support people in need within the local community.

We carry out regular community outreach, including food and essentials distribution, soup kitchens and support for people experiencing homelessness and hardship.

🌟 Volunteer Role

As a volunteer, you could help with:

🥣 Helping prepare and serve food at soup kitchens
🧤 Supporting our street outreach sessions
📦 Sorting, packing and distributing food and essential items
🤝 Speaking with and supporting members of the community
🚚 Helping with collection, transportation and setting up events
📣 Supporting fundraising and charity events
📱 Helping with social media, promotion and community engagement
🏠 Supporting our wider community projects
👤 Who We're Looking For
We welcome volunteers who are:


Friendly, approachable and respectful
Reliable and willing to get involved
Passionate about helping others
Comfortable working as part of a team
Able to communicate well with different members of the community
Experienced or completely new to volunteering – full training and guidance can be provided
⏰ Time Commitment
Flexible volunteering opportunities available.

You can volunteer around your existing work, studies or other commitments. Even a few hours can make a real difference.

📍 Location

Local community outreach – London and surrounding areas.

Specific locations and dates will be discussed with successful volunteers.
