Selling our collections (hoards) of mostly French vintage items that have been acquired over many years until finally we have no room for more!

Part of our French copper kitchenalia collection, we got this vintage copper frying pan/sauté pan from a brocante at Dijon, Burgundy.
It’s a professional standard pan with what I think is a traditional tin lining, hammered finish and a triple riveted iron handle.
Marked with a worn FABRICATION FRANCAIS mark near the handle and a clear maker’s mark to the base:

There is also a signature that is illegible to me.
Brief research shows it to have been made in France for renowned German company SBS Solingen.
It’s a heavy yet well balanced frying pan or sauté pan that’s a nice useful size at about 24 cm diameter that also displays really well.
A quality, well used pan that is now worn but still bright and functional, it also makes a great decorative piece of French kitchenalia…

In good vintage used condition with wear, staining and tarnishing - please examine photographs carefully for condition.
In more or less as found condition, this has just had a thorough wash, I’m sure it would polish up nicely if so required.
The copper is in good, bright, sound condition with wear, knocks and scratches - see photos.
Slightly misshapen from circular.
The iron handle is well cast and in good condition with prominent triple copper rivets to the handle that are secure with no movement.
The lining appears to be traditional tin that is now worn and stained - see photos.
NOTE: The tin lining is used and worn with a little copper visible in a couple of chips/nicks indicating that re-lining should possibly be anticipated in the future if to be used for serious cooking - see photos.
