Overview

1982 Ford Cortina, Nice affordable vehicle to get you into the classic car scene…… or lovely addition to your collection?

I drove this nearly 300 miles in one very very hot day in July 26 and it performed perfectly. Cruised at motorway speeds easily with more power in reserve if needed and surprisingly comfy.

It represents a perfect daily driver, a rolling resto, or can easily be taken to the next level by the new owner.
Astonishingly cheap to insure too.

All tyres have good tread.

It’s not concourse but it is presentable and usable in it’s current state.

Interior could do with attention and I can only apologise for the stupid speakers and stereo, but replacement door cards are available or these could be retrimmed.

The car does have small battle scars commensurate with it’s age.

Please study the photos as these form part of the advert description.

Options for the new owner:
The car is located in Strathy Point (KW14 7RY)
Collection is straight forward; train or plane or coach to Inverness then take a train on one of the most beautiful train journeys in the UK to Forsinaird where I’m happy to collect you.
Alternatively overnight at the new Premiere Inn in Thurso (next to the train station) where I could collect you.
I appreciate that logistics can take time to organise so once a sale is agreed I’m happy to store the car whilst collection arrangements are made.
