Hey, I'm Ian from Milton, Oxfordshire.

I help newbies, park runners & club runners take on their first race or hit a PB in 5k, 10k, Half & Full Marathons.

If you want support in-person it will be in Oxfordshire and surrounding areas, if you want it online, it'll be via Training Peaks, WhatsApp and Video Chat.

I have 23 years running experience, 13 years in coaching. I am confident I can help you Unleash Your Victory!

My vision is to help you complete and compete in running, whether it's your first or your fiftieth race.

Whether you're looking to finish, or you're on the hunt for your next personal best.

I provide an easy to access structured personalised training plan via your phone.
In-person support in Abingdon and surrounding areas.

Comprehensive support and communication via audio and video chat.

I'll help to keep you accountable & do the thinking so all you have to do is turn up and run.

Ian is a fantastic coach and I highly recommend seeking his advice. Not only does he provide excellent programming, he is always available for questions and advice. He managed to help me through a tricky and unusual schedule to significantly improve my 5k time and get me to my first 10k in a time I’m very pleased with. If you’re looking for accountability, advice and quality programming I highly recommend working with Ian.

I had the pleasure of winning a competition for a half marathon coaching with Your Run Coach. Throughout the training, Ian proved to be extremely attentive and encouraging, which boosted my confidence for the big day. Working with Ian was incredible. I felt like it was the best experience I have ever had with a personal trainer. He really understood what I wanted out of my training plan and allowed me to be flexible when necessary (regarding rest and recovery). For me personally, he communicates in a friendly way and genuinely is like talking to a motivational friend most the time. Obviously he also takes his training sessions with clients seriously and that’s how I got the most out of this. Training Peaks was a great platform to set sessions and record feedback to allow for progress, as well as being able to communicate on WhatsApp during the week until 7pm. Ian is a great PT and I would 100% recommend him for anyone wanting to get into running or simply start their fitness journey.

A big shout out to Ben Plummer. I have just got back from Running Lands End to John O’groats. Ben coached me to get me ready for the event. His support and knowledge were amazing with out his help I would not have been able to complete the event. He was very accommodating when I needed things switched due to commitments and was always only a message away when I needed a chat. Thanks Ben it was worth every penny. Highly recommend.
