Description
This fibreglass fly fishing rod is in excellent condition.
The label says
'Made by Kerr (Rod & Gun) Hamilton. Tel HAM 26366
Researching this, all figure phone numbers were fully in place by 1969.
The shop finally closed in the 1990s but I would guess this rod was sold in the 60s.
It's an attractive rod and with this bit of history it would be a good collector's item.
It is 10ft long, in 2 parts but has no bag.
It has been in hibernation for a long time and it would be good to see it going to a good new home.
It can be seen pretty much any time in Auchtermuchty.
I have 2 other rods for sale so have a look at them as well.
