Features highly decorative Rococo-style scroll details on the spandrels, a central keystone accent, and fully intact front coal bars. Much prettier and more ornate than standard plain arched models.
Dimensions: Height: 90cm | Width: 69.5cm | Depth: Approx 12 inches. Standard size for period chimney recesses.Condition: Good aesthetic condition on the front face. Please note the rear casing has been historically modified/cut to house a gas fire conversion (the gas line valve is still attached, and the original top smoke flap is missing).
Ideal as a stunning decorative period feature, or for a modern bio-ethanol/gas insert project.Collection only from the Durham area. It is very heavy cast iron, so it will require two people to lift and a suitable vehicle for transport.
