Description
A polished cast iron metal plate, sometimes called a fireplace insert, intended to fit just inside an outer decorative fire surround. It was made by "Gallery fireplaces" and never used.
It measures 40 inches (approx 1 metre) high and is 40 inches wide. The cut out is around 24 inches (60cm) across by 25 inches (63cm) high. There are 4 fixing hooks on the back.
This was purchased in 2003 and has been stored in a dry and heated area, it is unused and in good condition.
Located at ground floor level at the Lancefield Quay flats on the North side of the River Clyde near the Squinty Bridge, access is from Elliot Street at the riverside end. Please just give me a call to arrange to see it without any obligation.
