1989 Fiat/Bertone X1/9 Gran Finale with a massive twist. Built by Fiat mechanics specifically to take on the Nürburgring, this mid-engined, pop-up headlight go-kart was built as a life-size tribute to the classic Corgi toy car. Finished in a jaw-dropping Lamborghini Scandal Verde with early small bumpers and a black leather interior, it looks the business and sounds absolutely mega. It runs, drives, and stops, but as it was built a few years ago, it will need a thorough going-through before hitting the track again. What an incredible opportunity for someone to grab a thoroughly upgraded classic sports car!

Vehicle Overview & Highlights:

Make/Model: 1989 Fiat / Bertone X1/9 Gran Finale

Styling: Custom painted in Lamborghini Scandal Verde, backdated with early small bumpers, and sporting original OZ wheels wrapped in Yokohama tyres.

Engine & Performance: Mid-engine layout featuring a high lift Kent rally cam, vernier cam wheel, uprated valve springs, Lumenition ignition, lightened flywheel, and re-jetted carbs.

Exhaust: 4-into-1 manifold with a big bore exhaust system (watch the video you hear this cold start!).

Cooling & Transmission: Skimmed head, extra cooling fan on a switch, lower ratio gearbox, and 3 short drive shafts.

Suspension & Handling: 30mm lowering springs, Koni adjustable rear shocks, front and rear anti-roll bars, studded wheel hubs, and 1" alloy spacers.

Braking Setup: 4-pot Wilwood front calipers with Uno Turbo drilled & grooved front discs, Fiat 131 rear calipers with Uno Turbo rear discs, plus braided hoses all round.

Condition: Built a few years ago for the track. It runs, drives, and stops, but is being sold as a project that needs going through. A seriously fun weekend toy!
