I am happy with the standard of work done when they were working here, I had a lot of work done and am pleased with it. However, getting them back to complete work that was part of the original job and snagging issues has proved almost impossible. The guys that worked here were great. The organisation overall less so. I am still waiting for the work to be completed 3 months on.

From start to finish this company went above and beyond to transform our garden into a luxurious outdoor space. They helped design the garden coming up with some excellent ideas and making it wheelchair frienly for my husband. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole team was very conscientious.

Absolutely fantastic company. Paul was quick to come out and give a quote, beating every other quote I had. He was flexible with starting to fit with my schedule too. The work is a fantastic standard and looks beautiful. The team were friendly, polite and professional. Always having time to talk and explain the work they were doing. They kept the area tidy and always ensured we had a safe route in and out of the property whilst the work was being done. I would definitely recommend Avondale to everyone I know and will be I. I can’t honestly imagine using anybody better. Paul and his father-in-law John were on site every day throughout the project. They had two very hard-working brickie/landscapers, Dave (Bake) and Joe who worked both in 28° heat and in rain. They were all respectful (no swearing or loud macho style banter that I’d experienced with other workmen in the past). My garden began as a huge muddy slope up from the house. After moving in to this house in November 2024 I asked for quotes and Avondale came fully prepared. Paul and John arrived with samples, ideas and inspected the area thoroughly. They listened to my ideas also. A few days later, I had a quote and was told that it would remain that price even if hiccups occurred. The job did in fact end up being a much bigger job with lots and lots of clay/soil being removed. True to their word I didn’t pay a penny more. The road outside my property was swept every day. The end result is unimaginable. Avondale have create created two level areas. One is a sandstone paved patio near the house and the top level is a lawned space with borders for flowerbeds. I have beautiful red brick wide steps and dividing/supporting wall. I actually cannot believe it is mine! Their attention to detail is exquisite. Their work was so good my neighbour had their drive done and my mum asked them to repair her old patio and path. Thank you to all four of you. I’ll be forever grateful for such a positive experience.
