“I studied piano, jazz piano and music theory with Michael for many years. During this time l undertook exams and was very successful. Michael has a very calm and patient approach to teaching, he has a great enthusiasm and passion for music which he passes onto you during your lessons. As a nervous adult pianist, Michael has helped me to improve my confidence over many years and it is that time and space he gave me during my lessons which allowed me to find confidence and broaden my musical horizons to apply for piano summer schools and build a bigger network of piano friends, teachers and colleagues. Michael strives to continue his own professional development by also attending piano related courses, playing in concerts and entering competitions. This expands Michael’s knowledge and rubs off onto you as a pupil as he has a real thirst for musical learning. I am extremely grateful to Michael for the music and knowledge he taught me - he's also very very funny and will make you laugh as part of your musical training!!!”
