Passion, Potential and Purpose: One to One Tuition and Counselling. Apart from the sound of the title, I chose this name to describe the basis of my practice: to have a fully defined purpose, which through passion and commitment will unlock potential.
Thus the teaching enables the student to achieve great results and the client who comes for counselling to find him/herself and to deal with crucial issues.

I offer One to One Tuition at many levels. As a teacher, lecturer and private tutor, I have a wealth of experience covering all ages and many subjects over nearly 30 years, teaching at various schools and colleges in London, Cambridge and Hertfordshire. I have strong SEN experience., especially with Specific Learning Difficulties(Dyslexia).

Subjects have included:
Basic Literacy/Numeracy Skills,
English Literature and Language,
Business Studies,
General Studies,
Health and Social Care and Child Care,
Sociology,
Psychology and related subjects

At present, as a self employed tutor I am offering tuition in:

Basic Skills, Study Skills and Adult Education,
F, KS1 and KS2 subjects, especially English and Maths,
11+ and school entrance examination support,
English and Humanities to GCSE,
English, Sociology and Psychology to A Level.
Health and Social Care and Child Care.
TOEFL and IELTS test preparation.
Normally I travel to the student's home to give tuition, but I am also able to accommodate students for lessons at my home.
I am a qualified counsellor and I offer counselling for all areas of concern in a safe, confidential, non judgmental environment.' I work with all ages dealing with a range of issues including bereavement, self esteem, relationships, anxiety and anger management. Counselling sessions can take place at the client's home or at my address.

I am a Member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
