So my lad had difficulty in reading and understanding. Pronunciation was a big issue . Till we met Micah, he did a deep and thorough analysis on my boy and came up with a plan. In less than three months, the difference was there. Kwasi has now become bold and confident in school and among his piers. His reading and pronunciation are a surprise We won’t hesitate to recommend Micah to kids struggling with their learning.

Our son is 15 and currently working towards his Maths and English GCSEs. After years of struggling to access mainstream school, his confidence and self-esteem had been deeply affected, and learning had become a source of anxiety.
Finding Ican Tutoring has made an incredible difference. From the very first contact, the care, kindness and understanding shown by his tutor has been outstanding. That pastoral support continues through his weekly lessons and ongoing encouragement.
The academic teaching is excellent, but what truly stands out is how they have rebuilt his confidence step by step. He now feels capable, supported and far more positive about his future.
The support has helped our whole family, not just our son. We are truly grateful and would highly recommend Ican Tutoring to any family seeking compassionate, high-quality support.

I would like to express my appreciation for the maths and science tuition my daughter received.
The teachers are highly professional, and their explanations were clear and easy to understand. My daughter was able to grasp the lessons quickly, which helped her achieve good results in her exams.
They are also kind, patient, and supportive, creating a positive learning environment.
I would also like to commend the team for their excellent organisation and responsiveness. They made every effort to provide the teachers I requested, arranged replacements promptly when needed, and accommodated additional lesson requests without difficulty.
Overall, the quality of teaching and service has been excellent, and I am very grateful for the support provided.

My son is 12 years old. He's autistic and ADHD and he has been out of school for a couple of months now. We came across iCan Tutoring and from the very start, the communications were very knowledgeable, very compassionate, very understanding of the situation that we were in.
Of course, my son was very anxious but within 10 minutes, I could hear them laughing, having a joke and my son came away from that session feeling very positive and able to agree to start tutoring. We've now been using iCan Tutoring for seven or eight weeks now and my son has willingly attended every single session despite his reluctance to engage at school. The tutor makes every lesson completely individual to my son's needs, to his interests.
The most important thing for me is that it's in a very low demand environment. My son doesn't have very much resilience and he's able to build up his confidence. He's able to take more risks. And most importantly he feels safe enough to be able to say when he's had enough that day. My son's journey getting back to school is going to be quite a long one but I feel much more at ease knowing that he has this tutor at iCan Tutoring and it's a safe environment from home that he can work in. I really didn't think he would engage so well so that's a huge high five to his tutor for being able to get quite a reluctant learner to engage. They make it look quite easy.
We have a maths and an English session three times a week, and he's getting through a huge amount of work with it being one to one, probably more work than he was actually doing in his whole week at school. I cannot recommend iCan Tutoring highly enough, they have been absolutely transformative to our situation.

Just after things died down with COVID and schools were starting to reopen, Billy started to get more and more anxious about going to school. He started kicking off and his behaviour just got worse and worse because he just didn't want to be at school. He had completely lost all confidence in himself and as his dad it was really hard to watch my son struggle like that.
We came across iCan Tutoring mid September last year and honestly, from the beginning, Billy just felt settled. They didn't force or insist on certain things and I think that made him kind of feel at ease. Little by little we started seeing changes and he became less anxious and more willing to try.
His confidence has grown so much, I almost can't believe it. The biggest moment for us was when Billy told us he thinks he is ready to go back to school, which he is now on a reduced timetable. I mean that is something we honestly never thought would happen a year ago.
We’re really sad that he won’t be having sessions with you anymore because the support has meant so much to us, but at the same time we couldn’t be happier that you’ve helped get him to a place where he feels confident enough to go back into school.
We’re honestly so grateful for everything iCan has done for him and for our family.
