Description
Our client, a specialist equipment brand, have an urgent requirement for a permanent Workshop Assembler to join their team based in East London.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager you will be responsible for:
Assembling a wide rage of specialist equipment from start to finish, ensuring full functionality and compliance with technical and quality standards.Interpreting and applying mechanical and electrical drawings and instructions with precision, supported by in–house training where where necessaryUsing hand and power tools safely and efficiently.Conducting tests and adjustments of assembled products to ensure proper operation and adherence to company specificationsAdhering to strict health and safety procedures.Identifying and reporting faults or discrepancies in materials, components or instructions to the Workshop Supervisor.Collaborating effectively with team membersTo be considered for this role you will need:
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical/electronic drawings.Good manual dexterity and attention to detailStrong organisational skills and the ability to follow procedures.Good record keeping and documentation practicesProven experience in mechanical or electrical assembly.Experience in using hand tools and power toolsPractical use of basic electrical test equipment.The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.
