Technical Training Delivery Manager

Employment Type: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: Up to 50,000 per annum based on experience

Location: Location: Regional in South East (Hybrid, minimum 2 days in the office and remaining working from regional sites)

The Technical Training Delivery Manager for Wastewater owns the framework of technical training programmes that are targeted at improving the required skills and capabilities of operational teams. They are responsible for ensuring that the design, development and delivery of training solutions are fit for purpose by managing a team of Technical Trainers working across all Wastewater Operational area.

Leading the Technical Training Delivery team includes the development and effective management of workforce competence assessments aligned with the capability reward framework. Manage partnerships with internal stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to ensure high–quality training provision, robust planning and ongoing evaluation.

This role requires a strong people manager and effective communicator with a desire to provide engaging training solutions for all Wastewater colleagues, and who can collaboratively and efficiently deliver improvement projects.

To be successful in this role, you would need to have:

Understanding of the wastewater environment and key equipment / processes

Sound understanding of regulatory requirements affecting wastewater

Understanding of health and safety as well as risk assessment principals and application to real world situations

Strong business acumen

Demonstrable task prioritisation ability

Strong organisational management co–ordination skills

Ability to work collaboratively and establish effective relationships

Demonstrable planning and self–management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Excellent communication and planning skills and a track record of building authentic, trust–based relationships at all levels.
