Location: Connah's Quay Power Station – Gas Treatment Plant

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)

Start Date: March 1, 2026

End Date: December 31, 2026

Are you ready to step into an exciting role as a Client Representative Site Manager? Our client, a leader in the construction and engineering industry, is looking for a dedicated professional to oversee demolition activities at the Connah's Quay Gas Treatment Plant. This is your chance to make a significant impact in a high–stakes environment!

What You'll Be Doing:

As the Client Representative Site Manager, you will be the eyes and ears of the asset owner, ensuring that all demolition activities are executed safely, efficiently, and within contract terms. Your primary objectives will include:

Safety Assurance: Foster a "Zero Harm" culture on–site.Environmental Management: Ensure compliance with environmental specifications and regulations.Asset Protection: Safeguard surrounding infrastructure and operational areas.Contract Governance: Validate contractor performance, including progress and quality of work.Risk Management: Monitor compliance with Employer's Requirements and contractor risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

HSE Oversight: – Act as the primary site contact for CDM duties.

– Review and comment on the Contractor's Demolition Phase Plan and Risk Assessments.

– Oversee waste removal, ensuring compliance with environmental protocols.

Technical & Operational Management: – Lead and organize the site team for effective project management.

– Conduct daily site inspections to verify progress against the Demolition Programme.

– Manage logistics to avoid disruptions to the operational plant.

Commercial & Contract Administration: – Initiate quality assurance measures on–site.

– Validate contractor payment applications through physical verification.

– Prepare and support project close–out reports.

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

Experience: – At least 10 years in construction/engineering, with a focus on the Power/Process Industry or Demolition.

– Proven experience as a Client Representative, Owner's Engineer, or similar roles.

Skills: – Strong leadership and communication abilities.

– Proficiency in progress reporting and report writing.

– A solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications: – Construction/Engineering Degree/HND preferred.

– CSCS Card – Manager/Black Card required.

– NEBOSH General Certificate and Asbestos Awareness certifications are preferred.
