Site Engineer

My client, a national company providing an end–to–end service, will be responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of substations across the South West and Wales. As Site Engineer / Resident Engineer you will:

Be responsible for setting out on sites; drainage, roads, RC foundations, earthworks etc Work with TWCs and TWSs and support them throughout the project construction phase Produce as–built drawings Request TQs, RFI etc to resolve design issues, produce as–built drawings and ensure all QA documentation is completed correctly Attend design meetings, supporting site management team ensuring construction milestones are met. Our client requires a Site Engineer / Resident Engineer with:

HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline Experience with setting out/surveying on Civil Engineering projects Previous history of working in a Utility/Electrical Transmission environment Understanding of Temporary Works and BS5975 classifications Excellent communication skills. Salary and benefits include:

50,000 – 65,000 per annum Company vehicle or car allowance Attractive benefits package including private healthcare, life assurance, up to 8% employer pension, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
