Monday–Friday 3–Shift (6–2 / 2–10 / 10–6)

60,000 + Overtime

Our client is an established food manufacturer, part of a larger global group, with multiple sites worldwide. Due to growth & CI Projects at the site, they are looking for a number of multi–skilled shift engineers to join their production & packaging team.

Role & Responsibilities:

Carry out planned, reactive maintenance and safety checks on all high–speed food production lines, packaging machinery, conveyors, metal detectors, labellers, baggers, checkweighers, PLC's, control panels, robotics, depositorsElectrical & mechanical fault finding, repairs, stripdowns & overhaulsWorking on motors, gearboxes, VSD's, inverters, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, drives, bearingsImproving plant availability, reliability and continuous improvement workMonitor contractors on site, ordering spares & parts

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Multi–Skilled Maintenance EngineerIdeally have completed a recognised apprenticeshipHNC / HND qualified in EngineeringElectrical & mechanical fault finding and problem solving skillsPreviously have dealt with industrial processing & equipment and manufacturing systemsMust have worked in a similar food manufacturing or FMCG environmentKnowledge of electrical safety isolation procedures would be beneficialMust have worked on motors, sensors, inverters, gearboxes, VSD's, pneumatics, drivesExperience of using SAP would be beneficialAdvantageous if worked with PLC systemsAny experience of working in an ATEX / CompEX environment would be great
