Location: Nelson

Salary: Starting at GBP52,000 increasing after probation completed.

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts - 42-hour average week - (Please ask for the visual pattern.)

We re proud to be partnered with a expanding, industry-leading FMCG manufacturer in Nelson, and we re looking for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their high-performing engineering team.

This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, technically advanced operation where you ll be at the heart of keeping production lines moving and improving every day.

What You ll Be Doing:

Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on pumps, conveyors, and packaging machinery

Responding to breakdowns and ensuring minimum downtime

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency

Working collaboratively within a skilled engineering team

Helping shape a proactive, solutions-driven maintenance culture

What You ll Bring:

A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar.

Solid experience in both mechanical fitting and electrical fault finding

A background in manufacturing, ideally food, drink, or packaging

A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
