Description
We are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to support a major construction project, responsible for accurate setting out and surveying activities across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Set out works accurately using total stations, GPS and surveying equipment. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and coordinates. Provide levels, grids and control points for construction teams. Carry out quality checks and record survey data. Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors. Identify and report any discrepancies or issues. Maintain accurate site records and documentation. Requirements
Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer within construction/civil engineering. Strong knowledge of surveying principles and construction drawings. Competent with Total Station, GPS and AutoCAD. Relevant engineering/surveying qualification preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to H&S. CSCS or equivalent site certification.
