Description

BMC Recruitment Group is currently seeking a to join a client within the construction and property sector based in Scotland, United Kingdom. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working from either the Glasgow or Edinburgh office.

About the Role

Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget Lead the production of cost plans at various levels and tender documents Oversee post-contract cost management and contract administration - Act as the Employer's Agent or Contract Administrator on various projects Collaborate with junior staff to assist in project delivery and mentor their professional development Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and clients

About You

A relevant educational background in Quantity Surveying or a related field Chartered qualification preferred but not essential Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Strong proficiency in producing cost plans and tender documents Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Previous experience in Professional Quantity Surveying (PQS) is preferred but not essential Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
