Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their established Belfast team.

Your new role

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of geotechnical design and site investigation projects from feasibility through to construction. Working closely with civil, structural and environmental teams, you will provide technical expertise, manage project delivery and mentor junior engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

Geotechnical design for infrastructure and development projectsInterpretation of ground investigation data and preparation of technical reportsFoundation design, slope stability assessments and earthworks engineeringGeotechnical risk assessments and design recommendationsPreparation of specifications and contract documentationLiaison with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teamsProject management, programme delivery and budget controlMentoring and supporting junior team members

What you'll need to succeed:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or a related disciplineProven experience delivering geotechnical engineering projects within a consultancy environmentStrong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design and ground engineeringExperience in geotechnical design software and industry standardsAbility to manage multiple projects and client relationships
